Safe on both sides
A contact list is only useful if the right people are on it, and the wrong people can't get to it.
For vendors
- Your contact info is never public. Only members can see it, not search engines or scrapers.
- Every contact view is logged and capped per day, so nobody can bulk-copy the list.
- You choose what's shown (phone, email, or both) and can hide or delete your listing anytime.
- We never ask for your SSN, tax ID, or bank info.
For GCs & subs
- Invite only. Everyone gets in through a member's referral or our review, and we know who invited whom.
- Every listing links to the vendor's official license lookup (CSLB or another .gov page), so you can check it in one tap.
- If a vendor changes their phone or email, the change waits for review, so a listing can't be quietly hijacked.
- Report a bad listing in two taps. Several reports pause it automatically.
Watch for payment scams. Construction is a top target for fake "we changed our bank info" emails. Never change where you send money based on an email alone. Call the vendor at a number you already had. EstSub never handles payments.
